I never know where my imagination is going to take me. It can be the coldest day of the year. I look out the window and I see a Parisian sky with the Eiffel Tower in the distance. And boats on the Seine. Like that Renoir painting I love so much. “Luncheon of the Boating Party” it’s called. Folks just enjoying their day with other folks, drinking and eating and laughing to the music of an accordion player. Clarice and Michelle with Jacques on a lovely Saturday afternoon. Enjoying each other’s company. “Would you care for more wine,” Michael, the waiter, asks. “Of course,” Jacques agrees. “More wine for everyone. I just won the lottery.” If I had just won the lottery, I too would be celebrating with friends on a boat on the Seine.
