Nuptials

Inspire by Psalm 19.

Each dusk Moon appears,
a bride dressed in light.
Stars carry her train.

She walks in radiance
the aisle from evening
toward the dawn

and the altar of morning
to meet Sun, her groom.
Along her journey she smiles

upon Earth and her children.
And Earth returns her smile.
Flowers bend her way.

Trees raise their limbs,
toasting her generosity.
A rabbit gazes

awestruck by her beauty.
And a couple
strolls along the Seine,

bathed in her blessing.
